"Delta Upsilon (DU) is the oldest non-secret North American fraternity and the only non-secret fraternity at the University of Alberta. Non-secrecy is our promise to be open and transparent in everything that we do, and guests are more than welcome to attend our Monday meetings and see what we are doing weekly. Established here at the University of Alberta campus in 1935, DU provides members with opportunities to extend the classroom experience into real life through social activities, campus and community involvement, and ongoing service projects. Our mission statement is “Building Better Men” and we do this by helping every member reach their full potential to become a well-rounded individual. We were recently awarded for having the highest GPA out of any Greek organization on campus, while still managing to create lifelong memories and great times with our brothers.

Our commitment to Building Better Men is one of the reasons why we have the most illustrious alumni out of any fraternity on campus at the U of A. Our alumni include Peter Lougheed, Francis Winspear, Clare Drake, Randy Gregg, and Eldon Foote and just by taking a walk through campus you will find 4 major facilities that share names with DU Alberta alumni."
